Women in BEMS at learnd Ireland

The world of Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS) has long been a male-dominated field, but like many technical industries, it is evolving. At learnd Ireland, we’re proud to see more women making an impact—not just within our company, but across the sector as a whole. Progress isn’t just about increasing numbers; it’s about recognising expertise, valuing contributions, and creating an environment where talent thrives—regardless of gender.

The Role of Women in BEMS

Women in engineering, project management, technical support, human resources, and business operations play a critical role in shaping the future of BEMS. They bring fresh perspectives, problem-solving skills, and leadership that drive efficiency, innovation, and long-term sustainability. Their contributions extend beyond their job titles—they are mentors, problem-solvers, and champions of progress.

At learnd Ireland, we have a 12-strong team of women working across multiple departments, each bringing expertise, passion, and a unique approach to the table. Together, they embody the Power of Many—where diverse strengths and experiences come together to drive innovation and excellence. This International Women’s Day, we’re proud to highlight some of their recent achievements and insights, and share how they’re collectively moving the industry forward.
